Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Shipcheck, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

Shipcheck provides website auditing tools including broken link detection, SEO analysis, DNS record verification, and performance monitoring.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Only auditing websites you own or have permission to audit

4. Fair Use

Do not use Shipcheck to overwhelm or attack any website. Rate limits apply to all accounts. Abusive behavior may result in account suspension.

5. Payments & Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis for unused portions of your subscription.

6. Limitation of Liability

Shipcheck is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Shipcheck after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Data Protection & DPDP Compliance Clause

Both parties acknowledge and agree to comply with their respective obligations under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and associated rules.

  • Data Fiduciary Obligations: Shipcheck acts as a Data Fiduciary and will process personal data solely for specified, lawful purposes to which you have explicitly consented or as otherwise authorized under Section 7 of the DPDP Act.
  • Audit Ownership & Permission: You represent and warrant that you own or possess valid explicit authorization to audit any web domain, endpoint, or URL submitted to Shipcheck, and that doing so does not violate third-party privacy rights or statutory regulations.
  • Data Principal Rights: You retain all rights under DPDP Act Sections 11–14 (Access, Correction, Erasure, Consent Withdrawal, Grievance Redressal, and Nomination). Requests may be submitted via our Data Rights Request Portal or by emailing our Grievance Officer at privacy@shipcheck.pro.
  • Security & Breach Notification: Shipcheck implements reasonable security safeguards (DPDP Sec. 8(5)) to protect personal data. In the event of a personal data breach, Shipcheck will notify the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) and affected Data Principals in accordance with statutory guidelines.
